CUPRA is FC Barcelona’s Official Automotive and Mobility Partner and Official Car. The brand also remains a Global Part-ner and will be present as one of the official sponsors at Espai Barça, the transformation project of all the facilities that FC Barcelona has in Barcelona, and at the Joan Gamper Sports City (Sant Joan Despí). This new global alliance expands CUPRA’s links with all the club’s professional sports. In addition to maintai-ning its relationship with the first men’s and women’s football teams, CUPRA becomes the official sponsor of the FC Barcelona basketball, futsal, handball and roller hockey teams until June 2029. To reinforce the global impact of the brand, the CUPRA logo will be present on the right sleeve of the men’s and women’s soccer team shirt during the 2024, 2025 and 2026 editions of the Summer Tour, as well as in the team’s international friendlies for the next three seasons. With the aim of supporting CUPRA’s global strategy and strengthening its commitment to talent, the company will be the main partner of the Barça Academy. This association will result in the presence of CUPRA in the name and branding of the facilities. “At CUPRA we share the values of FC Barcelona. Both brands face challenges with passion, we have a winning ambition and a commitment to the future and to new generations, creating a unique connection that we are very pleased to continue. The renewal of our alliance will allow us to continue challenging the status quo from the field and on the road, and rein-force our ambition to turn CUPRA into a truly global brand,” explained CUPRA CEO Wayne Griffiths. The renewal of the agreement will extend an alliance that began in 2019 and is based on the values shared by both brands and a joint vision of the future. The commitment to young talent in all FC Barcelo-na’s professional teams connects with the rebellious essence of CUPRA, created for a new generation of drivers ready for electric mobility. — The event included the participation of players from the club’s various professional teams.
