Our brand will take a significant stride in its globalisation with its launch in the US at the end of this decade. And it will do so with the electric version of Formentor and a larger electric crossover SUV, to be produced in the Volkswagen Group’s factories in North America, including Mexico. Two models that will be marketed in selected states through a new distribution model. In addition, 2024 will see the brand’s biggest product offensive to date. Two new heroes for a new era will be launched this year: the CUPRA Tavascan, the brand’s second all-electric model, and the CUPRA Terramar, an electrified SUV. These will not be the only new products from the brand. We also have new and updated versions of the Leon and Formentor models and new CUPRA City Garages will be opened in Istanbul, Vienna and Manchester. SEAT S.A. is constructing a battery system assembly plant in Martorell, with the first phase of the transformation of Line 1 scheduled to commence in September. This will facilitate the future production of the CUPRA Raval and the Volkswagen ID.2aII. However, according to Wayne Griffiths, CEO of SEAT and CUPRA, progress in the electrification of the country also involves “informing customers that electric vehicles are part of the solution to sustainable mobility, not part of the problem is key, together with improvements to taxation and incentives for the purchase of electric vehicles and the boosting of charging infrastructure.” CUPRA, THE COMPANY’S DRIVING FORCE CUPRA, THE COMPANY’S DRIVING FORCE SEAT’S COMMITMENT TO THE FUTURE SEAT’S COMMITMENT TO THE FUTURE MARTORELL CONTINUES ITS ELECTRIFICATION
